As a brand we pride ourselves on producing concept driven fashion pieces. What we mean by this is each piece is influenced by a particular personal experiences, aspiration or anything that deeply resonates with us. We love sourcing the best material and trying to create the perfect fit but expressing ourselves and our story through a concept is the part we love the most.

1960’s FOOTBALL CONCEPT

Football was our first love, we started playing as kids and played well into our adult years. For a long period of time it was our one true passion, providing us with inspiration for our second piece.

We decided to model the piece on the 60’s because of the aesthetic of that era. The jerseys were thick, made with heavy cotton and featured high necklines. We love the similarities with current streetwear and how it allowed us to fuse football and fashion. From materials to logo size and placements we tried to stay as true to the era as we could but of course adding our own brand personality.

THE WORKER CONCEPT

The Worker Tee was inspired by our journey when starting the brand. We had given up careers in respected professions to give us the time to explore our passion. To make ends meet we were working security at the time. We worked nights together and would spend whole shifts talking and visualizing what we wanted the brand to look like.

Our aim was to take elements from high visibility uniforms and make it into a desirable fashion piece that told our story. We adapted the neckline to be more conventional looking by reducing it in thickness and changing the ribbing. We used a luminous yellow thread for the embroidery and added an overlock stitch.

FRDM CONCEPT

Freedom is a topic we continually talk about and consider it to be the true measure of success. Reaching the point of living on our own terms, doing what we love daily is a major driving force. We want to inspire people to identify their own unique version of freedom and develop the courage to go and chase it.

We used the flying birds to symbolize freedom, adapting our logo and also placing them independently on the rear neckline. We felt as if the concept really came through in this piece and shows our progression as a brand.

HOH X ALA CONCEPT

Mental health awareness is so important to us as a brand. At our core, Heart of Hearts is about finding purpose and living a life you love. Although, we are well aware it is not always as simple.

We teamed up with Anton Levy Amoo to create a piece that raises awareness for mental health in young men. Anton's work really resonated with us and he has been advocating awareness on the topic previous to working with us, it has been a pleasure to collaborate.

We worked on this piece for over two months and recent events in our city have made the conversation so much more important. Having worked closely with Anton throughout the process, it made us realise how important it is to surround yourself with people that share a part of your journey.

This hand painted art specifically captures the highs and lows we all go through as human beings and the constant pursuit of true self, the ethos of our brand.

VEGA CONCEPT

In September 2022, me and Lou flew out to Majorca for a few days away to celebrate the brand making it to 2 years. We were stood out on our balcony talking all things HofH and how it has changed our lives. Earlier that day we had some orders come through and I was talking to Lou about how positive that was when he said “yo look at that!”

As I looked up, the brightest light shot across the sky, we had both just witnessed our first shooting star. It was such a profound moment and we knew it couldn’t be a coincidence. A moment in time that we will remember forever, so we wanted to bring it to life in the best way we know how.

Creating a visual to capture the moment was something we were set on. We would like to thank the talented Nicole Storer for collaborating with us and coming through with the perfect representation.
